Boys Basketball – Chenango Forks at Seton

Chenango Forks has enjoyed a resurgent season on the hardwood, and perhaps no win symbolizes that as much as their 67-64 defeat of Seton back on December 17. In that game, Seton superstar Drew Erickson had a look from 3 in the corner at the buzzer that was off the mark. It seemed like a shocking win at the time, but considering how they are 6-1 in league play and 11-2 overall, maybe it shouldn’t be. They have proven to be the real deal.
Seton has played a very tough non-league schedule this year, including games against Ithaca, Corning, Marcellus, and Bishop Grimes. In STAC league play, they come in one game behind Forks at 5-2, good for third place in the Central. There will definitely be some revenge on the minds of the Saints on Friday night.
Both teams will look to keep pace in the Central with Owego, who are a perfect 7-0 with rematches still to come against both Seton and Forks.
