Girls Basketball – Maine-Endwell at Elmira

This matchup will feature two of the best players in the state: Maine-Endwell’s Kaety L’Amoreaux vs. Elmira’s Jalea Abrams. Both are coming off of impressive performances earlier this week. L’Amoreaux dropped 40 with six 3’s in a win over Horseheads at home. Abrams had 31 with four 3’s, but was unable to overcome Johnson City in a road loss. Both are also committed to play in college next year, with L’Amoreaux going to Division I Fairfield, and Abrams to Division II Queens.
This is also a rematch of last year’s STAC Championship, won by Elmira 58-54. L’Amoreaux had 23 and Abrams had 20. The Express held off a Spartan rally in the 4th to seal the game.
