Boys Basketball – Ithaca at Owego

Here’s a sneaky good non-league game to kick off the basketball season, as Ithaca travels to Owego. Ithaca welcomes back head coach Mac Knight, where he returns after running the program from 1993-2003. He then became principal, retired in 2020, but was called into service again to be the head man. They open the season with All-Conference senior Justin Yearwood and All-Division junior Luke Little.
Owego made it all the way to the Section IV Class B Championship game last year, and will look to return to the top this season like they did in 2019. They are led by a couple of All-Conference horses in brothers Joe and John Bangel. Chris Evans is back for his 15th year as head man of the Owego program.
