With the regular season winding down, we get a matchup between two of the heavyweights in STAC. Union-Endicott enters this match a perfect 9-0 in league games. Corning counters with a 7-1 league record, with their lone blemish a narrow 199-205 setback to Vestal on September 2. Since then, the Hawks have easily handled their five opponents. The Tigers have largely been unchallenged this year, and have twice defeated Vestal by scores of 207-232 and 203-225. These teams have plenty of history from last year, as they traded wins in both the STAC Championship (U-E 416-417) and the Section IV, Class A Championship (Corning 392-401). Jack Creath of Corning and Dante Bertoni of U-E tied for 1st in the Class A Championship with a pair of 73s.
