On Tuesday night April 5. Owen Hoyt (Sr./2022) a UMass Lowell commit made his first start of the 2022 season in impressive fashion. A complete game 14K performance he faced two batters over the minimum on his way to throwing his first HS No-hitter. Hoyt was perfect through 4 his only blemish came in the 5th when he walked two in the inning only to escape trouble by striking out two and getting a pop up to end the inning. Hoyt finished out the game by striking out the side. Hoyt was part of a combined no hitter last season, throwing 6 innings of no-hit ball to beat Binghamton.
