Team Goals: Stay competitive throughout the season and get better every game. We are hoping to repeat as the Section IV Class AAA champions, and to continue the road to Regionals and States.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West division. Defeated Elmira in Semi-final and Ithaca to win Section IV Class AAA Championship. Lost to Shenendehowa (II) in NYSPHSAA Class AAA Regional Final.
Elmira Express (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Danielle Dille, 4th year
Key Players: Cate Lambert (jr./Outside Hitter), Aleah Leonberger (jr./Setter), Kylie Leonberger (jr./Setter), Alivia Kerr (sr./Utility), Mareena Osborne (sr./Right Side)
Team Goals: This season, I look forward to seeing our team unite as one and grow together. I am looking forward to our team being competitive and holding our own against tough teams. My overall goal is always to make it to sectionals and compete with pride.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC West division. Lost to Corning in Section IV Class AAA Semi-final.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class AA)
Head Coach: Megyan Merrill, 4th year (5th overall)

Team Goals: Keep our play consistent on our side, and with that to hopefully make an appearance in Sectionals again this year.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC West division. Defeated Vestal to win Section IV Class AA Championship. Lost to Warwick (IX) in NYSPHSAA Class AA Regional Final.
Ithaca Little Red (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Sydney Trumble, 4th year (5th overall)
Key Players: Kiara Thurmond (sr./Middle Hitter), Samantha O’Connor (sr./Setter), Brooke Parker (sr./Defensive Specialist, Libero), Hila Khan (sr./Middle Hitter)
Team Goals: Continue building and strengthening our program while competing at the highest level possible. Coming off last season as STAC Champions, we know there are big shoes to fill, but our focus is on taking things one day at a time. We want to use every practice as a building block, compete in every match, and continue improving throughout the season so that we put ourselves in the best possible position to make a strong postseason run.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Defeated Oneonta in Semi-final and Owego to win STAC Championship. Lost to Corning in Section IV Class AAA Championship.
Metro
Binghamton Patriots (Class AA)
Head Coach: Samantha Hadden, 7th year

Team Goals: Learn as we grow as a team and individually. Have fun!
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Metro division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Maine-Endwell Spartans (Class A)
Head Coach: Kathy Greene, 8th year

Team Goals: Success will be challenging every team we play and ultimately claim a Section IV Class A Championship.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro division. Lost to Owego in STAC Semi-final. Lost to Owego in Section IV Class A Championship.
Union-Endicott Tigers (Class AA)
Head Coach: Paige Franey, 30th year (37th overall)
Key Players: Gabby Fledderman (sr.), Aiyana Razzaq (soph.), Maddie Nunn (sr.), Stella Guccia (sr.)
Team Goals: First, come together as a group and have fun playing, and all work towards a common goal of being successful both on and off the court. Of course, we all want to win STAC and Section IV Class AA titles, but there are things that are just as important to accomplish first. Doing all the little things well will lead us to success with the big things.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Metro division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Vestal Golden Bears (Class AA)
Head Coach: Joe Nemecek, 27th year
Key Players: Katelyn Oranu (jr./Middle Hitter), Kate Finch (jr./Outside Hitter), Maddie O’Brien (sr./Setter), Ellie Russell (sr./Defensive Specialist), Quinn Hatala (sr./Defensive Specialist)
Team Goals: Come together as a team and play the best volleyball we can. That being said, our goal is always to win the STAC Metro division and win the Section IV Class AA Championship.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Metro division. Lost to Horseheads in Section IV Class AA Championship.
Central
Chenango Valley Warriors (Class B)
Head Coach: Sue Edwards, 32nd year (37th overall)

Team Goals: Improve every day, play with confidence, compete every point, support each other, and finish stronger than we started.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Central division. Finished tied for 3rd in Pool Play and did not advance in Section IV Class B Semi-finals.
Johnson City Wildcats (Class A)
Head Coach: Alisha Pellicciotti, 6th year (7th overall)
Key Players: Jayla Mazyck (jr.), Mikayla Docalavich (jr.), Ellie Perkins (jr.), Lexi Wheaton (jr.)
Team Goals: Have a winning record and make sectionals.
Last Season: Finished 5th in STAC Metro division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Owego River Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Brittney Race, 14th year
Key Players: Payton Newman (sr,/Setter), Izzy Herceg (jr./Setter), Macey Shaw (jr./Setter), Braelea McLaren (soph.), Ava McKeon (jr.), Riley White (jr.)
Team Goals: Our goals this season obviously are to win as many games as possible, but we also want to learn to be competitors and grow our overall level of play. It would also of course be nice to win sectionals and be competitive at the Regional and State level.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Defeated Maine-Endwell in Semi-final, lost to Ithaca in STAC Championship. Defeated Maine-Endwell to win Section IV Class A Championship. Lost to Islip (XI) in NYSPHSAA Class A Regional Final.
Seton Catholic Saints (Class C)
Head Coach: Alia Post, 2nd year (7th overall)
Key Athletes: Ava Connors (jr./Setter, Outside Hitter), Olivia Nazarenus-Duffy (jr./Libero)
Team Goals: As most people know, last year was the first year for Seton volleyball, so we used it as a growing/learning year. However, this year as most of our girls are returners, we are hoping to build on the team growth we made last year as a younger team and use it to advance the team further than just regular season games. Our hope is a chance at sectionals this year, so we will see.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Central division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Waverly Wolverines (Class A)
Head Coach: Hailee Rote, 4th year (10th overall)
Key Players: Ava Heath (sr./Outside Hitter), Meeya Wheeler (fresh./Setter), Layla Oeschslin (fresh./Libero), Addison Foster (fresh./Middle Hitter)
Team Goals: Keep building the foundations for a strong, competitive program, and competing in Sectional play.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Central division. Did not qualify for sectionals.

Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class B)

Team Goals: Make sure our JV players are ready for Varsity next year. We have five seniors graduating next season.

Team Goals: This year our goal is to all be in the same page and further develop our team culture for years to come. We want to work as a program to push one another to be better and stronger every day.
