Team Goals: Win the STAC West division, STAC, and Section IV Class AAA Championships. Compete at a high level in the NYSPHSAA State Tournament.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Defeated Seton in Semi-final, lost to Binghamton in STAC Championship. Defeated Elmira to win Section IV Class AAA Championship. Lost to New Rochelle (I) in NYSPHSAA Class AAA Subregional.
Elmira Express (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Lou Condon, 1st year

Team Goals: Our biggest goal this year is to compete at the highest level possible. Continue to work hard and be able to play hard and play good quality basketball. Definitely to compete for the STAC Championship and ultimately a Section IV Class AAA Championship as well.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West division. Lost to Corning in Section IV Class AAA Championship.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class AA)
Head Coach: Randall Torgalski, 1st year (27th overall)

Team Goals: This season is a bit of a rebuilding year. We know we will play hard and compete each night out.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC West division. Lost to Union-Endicott in Section IV Class AA Semi-final.
Ithaca Little Red (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Rahmel Mack, 1st year (4th overall)
Key Players: Vaughn Bailey (jr./Shooting Guard), Jasmir Robbins (soph./Shooting Guard, Small Forward), Julius Abreu (sr./Small Forward, Power Forward)
Team Goals: Compete at a high level and put our school’s name back into the conversation for great basketball. We want to inspire our players to take pride in their game and in their city. Above all, we’re committed to bringing back the joy and love for basketball in our community.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC West division. Did not qualify for sectionals.

Team Goals: Give our very best, have great attitudes, treat each other really well, and be grateful for the opportunity to represent our school, our city, and our community.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro division. Defeated Oneonta in Semi-final and Corning to win STAC Championship. Defeated Union-Endicott to win Section IV Class AA Championship. Defeated Our Lady of Lourdes (IX) in Regional Final, Tappan Zee (I) in Semi-final, and Niskayuna (II) to win NYSPHSAA Class AA State Championship.
Johnson City Wildcats (Class A)
Head Coach: Dominic Nadz, 4th year (6th overall)
Key Players: Keon Saintillien (jr./Guard), Fenesse Morales (jr./Forward), Colin Barrett (sr./Forward)
Team Goals: Continue to grow as a program and compete to the best of our abilities.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Metro division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Maine-Endwell Spartans (Class A)
Head Coach: Bill Ocker, 20th year (27th overall)

Team Goals: Our goal is always to compete to the best of our ability in everything that we do. We will challenge ourselves this season with the most difficult non-league schedule we have ever played.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Metro division. Defeated Norwich in Semi-final, lost to Seton in Section IV Class A Championship.
Union-Endicott Tigers (Class AA)
Head Coach: Arthur Williams, 1st year (20+ overall)
Key Players: Andre Williams (sr./Guard), Joey Genneralli (sr./Guard), Luciano Thomas (jr./Guard, Forward)
Team Goals: Continue the family-enriched mindset of growth in preparation not only of playing the game of basketball, but to prepare these student-athletes for the endeavors of life after high school sports. Students are first and foremost for continuous success beyond the courts of basketball. Getting back to basics with defense, rebounding and cohesion based team basketball play that will breed success for this 2025-2026 basketball season.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Metro division. Defeated Horseheads in Semi-final, lost to Binghamton in Section IV Class AA Championship.
Vestal Golden Bears (Class AA)
Head Coach: Frank D’Esti, 3rd year
Key Players: Evan Webb (sr.), Alex Sculley (sr.), Canyon Kalina (sr.), Caleb Kittle (soph.), Corion Campbell (jr.), Ryan Andrus (soph.), Roman Riley (jr.)
Team Goals: Continue to build our program and make sectionals.

Team Goals: Continue to compete for a Section IV Class B Championship.
Last Season: Finished 5th in STAC Central division. Defeated Walton/Downsville in Quarterfinal, lost to Dryden in Section IV Class B Semi-final.
Chenango Valley Warriors (Class A)
Head Coach: Terry Heller, 8th year (37th overall)
Key Players: Jayden Jannotti (sr./Point Guard), Alikhan Murat (soph./Forward), Ben Kresge (sr./Forward), Declan Clark (sr.), Johnny Paske (soph./Guard), Johnny Fitzgerald (jr./Guard)
Team Goals: We will have four key players returning to go along with eight inexperienced players this season. How quickly the team gels will be a key for the Warriors.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Central division. Lost to Maine-Endwell in Section IV Class B Quarterfinal.
Owego River Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Chris Evans, 17th year (39th overall)
Key Players: Duke Snyder (sr./Guard), Carter Rieg (sr./Guard), Calvin Smith (sr./Guard), Kingston Brainard (sr./Guard)
Team Goals: We need to learn how to compete at a high level every single day. If we focus on the process the rest will take care of itself.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Central division. Lost to Oneonta in Section IV Class A Quarterfinal.
Seton Catholic Saints (Class AA)
Head Coach: Tommy Dempsey, 3rd year (24th overall)
Key Players: Allan Eagles (sr./Forward), Brian Dempsey (sr./Guard), Liam Kozel (sr./Guard), Malik Wimberly (jr./Guard)
Team Goals: Become STAC Central division, STAC, Section IV Class AA, and NYSPHSAA State Champions.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Lost to Corning in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Oneonta in Semi-final and Maine-Endwell to win Section IV Class A Championship. Lost to Byram Hills (I) in NYSPHSAA Class A Regional Final.
Waverly Wolverines (Class A)
Head Coach: Lou Judson, 23rd year (26th overall)
Key Players: Hogan Shaw (sr./Guard), Porter Daddona (sr./Forward), Ben Shaw (jr./Guard), Carson Rockwell (jr./Forward), Carter Davies (sr./Forward), Bryce LaForest (jr./Guard), Braiden Judson (fresh./Guard), Jack Pipher (soph./Guard), Sammy Cheresnowsky (soph./Guard)
Team Goals: Compete at a high level in any tournament we get in. Win the STAC Central division, STAC championship, Section IV Class B Championship, and make a run in the State playoffs. Our goals don’t change – we set them high and expect to reach them every year!
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Central division. Defeated Watkins Glen in Quarterfinal and Lansing in Semi-final, lost to Dryden in Section IV Class B Championship.
East
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class A)
Head Coach: Joe Alger, 2nd year (19th overall)

Team Goals: Build a culture of toughness, discipline, and unselfishness. Compete to win in practice every day. Continue to work on developing good habits.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC East division. Defeated Windsor in Quarterfinal, lost to Maine-Endwell in Section IV Class A Semi-final.
Oneonta Yellowjackets (Class A)
Head Coach: Brad Zeh, 3rd year (21st overall)
Key Players: Brady Carr (sr.), Britten Zeh (sr.), Maddox Imperato (sr.), Grayson Brockington (sr.), Jace Jackson (sr.), Orett Weir (sr.), Logan Layton (sr.), Chase Jervis (soph.), Mason Chard (soph.), Sawyer Furman (soph.)
Team Goals: Win the STAC East division and compete for a Section IV Class A Championship.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Lost to Binghamton in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Owego in Quarterfinal, lost to Seton in Section IV Class B Semi-final.
Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class B)
Head Coach: David Springer, 3rd year (27th overall)
Key Players: Sam Miller (jr./Guard), Alex Leudemann (sr./Guard), Jack Desimore (sr./Forward)
Team Goals: Last year’s team struggled to find wins and did not make the sectional tournament, but after a good off-season commitment from the players, we are looking to improve this season. This year’s team will look to continue that success. Our team goals this year are to defend, rebound, run, and compete every day. With a tough STAC schedule and a competitive non-league schedule, the players will need to focus on the team goals to be successful.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC East division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Windsor Black Knights (Class B)
Head Coach: Daniel Rathmell, 3rd year (20th overall)
Key Players: Nico Soriano (sr./Guard), Patrick Finn (jr./Forward), Derrek Safranek (jr./Guard), Brayden Moran (jr./Guard, Forward)
Team Goals: Short-term goal - win the next game. Season goal - win a Section IV Class B Championship.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC East division. Lost to Norwich in Section IV Class A Quarterfinal.
