Team Goals:
Boys – The boys team is in a great position to be successful and will look to win the STAC Central division and compete for a Section IV Class C title. Individuals and relays will look to medal at the Class C Championship and the Section IV Qualifier. Many individual sprinters will look to qualify for the state championship. Our boys 400m relay will look to defend their Section IV title and our 1600m relay will seek another state championship trip, regardless of their respective compositions. Our throwers and distance runners have increased in numbers and talent and will seek growth and improvement to get them to the next level of competition.
Girls – We’re fortunate to have solid numbers from the girls team, with a number of returning sprinters and certainly some returning veteran distance runners. Like the boys, our girls will look to win the STAC Central division and compete for a Section IV Class C title. Our distance runners could be big place winners and will look to advance well into the postseason, with maybe a trip to the state meet in an event or two. Our sprint relays will look to re-claim top spots in big Invitationals we attend, as well as the post-season. The girls have a competitive attitude and are ready to work to get to the top.
